Medicaid question IL

Hi, all! My fiance and I had a symbolic wedding ceremony in Mexico this weekend. We want to get married legally here in the states, however I cannot afford to have him on my insurance at work. To add him, it would be about half of my check just for the premium. He’s a full time student, getting his masters in nursing, so right now he does receive Medicaid. I’m on a high deductible ($6k) healthcare plan through my work. I make $25/hour and it’s just us two and I’m the sole provider while he’s in school. Does anyone have any insight into if he’s able to keep a Medicaid plan even at a reduced rate? Thank you for any help, advice, or insight.
