Help! 3000 ambulance bill

I went to an ER and since there is no ultrasound machine available they sent me to another hospital via an ambulance. I asked to take an uber since it is only a 10 minute ride but they didnt allow me. Now I am charged with 3000 even though it is their responsibility that they didnt have the machine and transferred me? Is there a way to dispute this?
