23 y/o under parents insurance who went to ER

I am a dumb kid and I don’t know anything about health care, insurance, paying for it, nothing. I went to the er in September, they told me insurance would cover 80%. While I was there they said I could pay $250 there or just pay online when they email me. To my surprise a hill came in the mail that was $1,628. My mother has Florida blue insurance that’s what I used. I called the hospital to say I simply cannot pay that amount, and they told me that I have a 1,500 deductible from the insurance. We’ve called the insurance, my mother, but they couldn’t do anything. The hospital has enrolled me in a financial assistance plan. Does this mean anything or does it mean jack shit? I can’t pay that amount we’re broke my moms a teacher so she has insurance I don’t get it. I’m a student I only work part time for my uncle. Any solutions here, I’m still very confused so simpler terms would be appreciated, thanks for any replies regardless.
