Would it be a mistake to switch from United Healthcare to Health Net to save $2500 annually off of premiums?

I currently am on a silver PPO UHC plan through my employer. They decided to include fertility coverage in the plan for 2024, and that together with inflation is raising the annual cost for the same plan by $2500. Health Net offers a similar silver plan for what I'm currently paying. I would love to save the money, but I need to be confident that Health Net won't engage in any scammy behavior. I'm on a Tier 2/3 prescription that I pay $50 a month for. Without insurance, it would be 2K a month. I checked Health Net's formulary, and they have a different brand of the same medication available. I also will be switching doctors in January, if that matters.
