I'm trying to sort out some health problems, and have some new doctors, and am not sure what the best way to get my records (including like MRIs that probably won't come across well in a photocopy) to the people who should have them.
I've lived a bunch of different places - moved to a new city every couple of months for 5 years for work - so my records are all over the place and trying to get in touch with all those doctors every time I see a new doctor is overwhelming and exhausting.
I'd love to just do the work once, consolidate everything, and have that handy going forward. Also, if there's somewhere I can add my own notes, like family medical history and a summary of my medical journey that would be fantastic.
I've missed a chance to see some incredible doctors because I didn't have the spoons to track everything down and have it transferred.
Are there systems out there that don't require a doctor to give you access? Are any better than others? Is there ones that's easier to use or familiar to more doctors?
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm so tired, and have gotten lost and overwhelmed trying to figure this out on my own.
