My company wants me to pick a new health plan but I’m a vet with VA benefits. Do I need to pick a plan or can I just waive it?

I spoke to some representatives from insurance companies and they were not “allowed” to say that I don’t need any of their insurance, but they kept referring to “tricare” as my VA benefits, but honestly, I’ve never heard that term used in all my visits to the VA centers. Thanks in advance for any help!
