Did I just get rejected as a new patient by a doctor's office because of my insurance company?

Applied as a new patient for a doctor's office. The girl at the counter told me they have 2 new doctors that just joined the practice and likely are less booked out. Got a call 2 days later with rejection because "all of our providers are booked." Seems suspicious. Aetna is the employer provided health insurance... What's up with that?
