Urgent Care Billing me for their mistakes

Two weeks ago I went to a local urgent care for STI testing that would be an out-of-pocket expense. It should've taken two days to get my results. On the fourth day, I received 'results' through he urgent care's app from the lab that did the testing and it said "The requisition we received for the above patient has no test indicated on the request form for one or more of the specimens submitted".

I already had an appointment with my primary care physician (PCP) so I asked him if he could do a lab test for STI's and we did it that same day. The lab would be an out-of-pocket expense.

The following day, (8 days after the STI testing at the urgent care), I called the lab that did the testing and they said they received the wrong specimen for the test that was ordered, so they did not do the testing. I sent a message through the urgent care app and they called the lab to clear things up and claimed they were finally doing the testing and I should have results by Tuesday - two business days later but 4 days total since I made this call on a Friday. Coincidentally, my lab tests from my PCP came back all negative (thank god) and only a day after doing the testing.

Tuesday came and I didnt hear anything about my initial lab tests. Wednesday, nothing. Thursday (today) I called my insurance and told them about this and they think I shouldn't have to pay for these tests since the urgent care definitely made a mistake. So I send a message in the app explaining why I shouldnt have to pay for these test and they said their manager would give me a call later. I never got a call - instead another message on the app saying they spoke with Labcorp, and received my negative results. The weird thing is, they said I could come pick it up and didnt mention anything about it being posted in the app or emailed to me.

This entire time, I had two previous sexual partners waiting on my results while they were waiting for their doctor appointments and I had no information to give them.

How do I get out of paying this shitty urgent care? I do not think I should have to pay them for this.
