to preface, i’m on their health insurance. I’m 21. Live on my own. Pay for pretty much everything I do. Just still on their healthcare. i’m so nervous about my parents finding about literally anything i do medication wise because my dad is SO strict and anti-mental health & medication for me it’s so annoying.
i need mental health medication & i would like to start taking some medication to help with my eating disorder.
i have heard people saying to call the insurance to get the EOB sent to my house, since i live on my own, but will my parents be notified of that?
also, the medications the doctor is interested in prescribing requires a PA. i’m scared my prents will receive notification of that as well.
sorry if i’m being dumb or stupid, but my dad is not understanding and i truly need this medication.
does anybody have any advice for me? thank you in advance ♡ ◡̈
