Closing out with old healthcare provider after changing insurance? (WA)

I changed employers last year and my insurance plan along with it. Because I was going from my parents’ plan to my workplace’s HMO plan under a different insurance company, I know my healthcare provider will change. I haven’t established care with a new doctor yet, but my question is: is there anything I need to notify my old doctor’s office of before seeking a new provider? (This is in the state of Washington)
