My primary care doctor... disappeared?

Its been a year or two since I last had a check up or talked to my doctor. Ive recently had a few health concerns pop up so I decided to make an appointment with my doctor. However when I called the number for my doctors office no one answered, and the voicemail didnt mention the practice's name or ask me to leave a message. I looked up the doctors office online and I cant find their website or any other mention of them besides old yelp reviews. Google maps doesnt list a business or anything at their old address. I checked my email and I havent gotten any emails saying theyve gone out of business or anything. My doctor was kind of old so my best guess is that he just sold the practice. Im guessing this means I have to find a new primary care doctor, but are all of my medical records now lost? Has anyone ever had a similar experience or have any advice on what to do in this situation?
