So my wife is pregnant and due in June. Our deductible is set at $2600 / $5200.
From January 1st till now we've had about $4225 worth of medical expenses; though I'd say roughly $1700 of which is still processing. I'm in the process of digging through my physical paperwork to determine exactly how much was paid by us and how much was paid by insurance.
Right now, my deductible is at $587.95 / $5200 and our Out of Pocket is set at $862.08 / $17,800 which kinda caught us off guard. We figured we'd be a little closer to our deductible than that and were confused at the split between the deductible and the Out of the Pocket. Could someone break this down for us?
