I got a bill in the mail for a hospital visit for $800(this is the total after insurance payments and insurance discount). I requested an Itemized Bill to see what they’re charging me for. I see they charged $20k for a CTA scan which sounds ridiculous. Who would I contact to see how much is this supposed to cost? What do I do from here? Do I contact my insurance to re-evaluate the bill or do I ask the hospital why they charged this much?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
