I recently received my explanation of benefits for a partial abdominal ultrasound. I was expecting to pay about $400 per some quick searches on Google, but the imaging center is charging $1000, and Cigna negotiated it to $800. This seems to be double the national average.
Are there some sites that provide clearer estimates? What's the best way, if any, a lower payment?
