I apologize if this doesn't belong here but I don't know where else to ask. It's been suggested that I get screened for ADHD. I would prefer to have one of the computerized testing methods. I cannot find an easy way of searching for providers that use this method. I've tried posting the question in my local social media groups and only got one response but it was a dead end, the psychiatrist retired.
I'm in a major metro area in the US. I know there are a ton of providers here who use this method, but I have no way of obtaining a list to start checking to see who takes my insurance. I tried calling my insurance but they don't keep a database of what methods providers use to diagnose this condition. My primary care doctor does not know. Google searches only get me articles about the testing process, ads for virtual doctors, or providers in other states. My friends only know pediatric doctors who use the computer method or the adults who were diagnosed were diagnosed by symptoms only. I tried checking the websites of the developers of the computer software to see if the have a "find a provider" link but no such luck.
Any suggestions?
