My daughter is graduating college this May, and with it losing her TRICARE Prime eligibility (through me). Don't get me started, that's one of the only healthcare plans not included under the Affordable Care Act that doesn't let you keep your kids on it until age 26.
She already has a job lined up with healthcare benefits, but they don't kick in until July.
Any feedback regarding best options to bridge the two months between loss of TRICARE Prime and her own coverage? TRICARE Young Adult (expensive)? An Affordable Care Act plan on the exchange? Something else?
I get that it's only two months, but of course if she goes uncovered, that's when the big healthcare emergency happens. Just how life seems to go....
What's our best options?
