When recently dealing with some clinics and doctors, I noticed very weird, awkward and ineffective practices. When inquiring about that, I was told these are the result of HIPAA regulations….
Can someone explain the HIPPA laws, how it was conceived and who promoted it in congress? But even more importantly, who decided on the implementation of these laws?
