I recently applied for healthcare thru healthcare.gov/marketplace. I received a follow-up questionnaire from the local Jackson MI DHS. I missed the due date of 01/24. It arrived in the mail with little to no time to complete (I don’t remember the exact day the mail arrived) and had no urgency labeling.
I called the number provided for questions and was told to go to the Jackson DHS, which I’ll be doing later today. Anybody know what I should expect? I’m guessing I’m just SOL. Is there anything you all can recommend I do?
I’m single and healthy so this isn’t urgent.
EDIT: To clarify, the follow-up questionnaire had a return due date of 01/24. It stated that if the deadline was missed, I could be denied health insurance.
