I am getting surgery which my parents are going to pay the copay for. The reason I need CC is because I don’t want the reason for surgery released to them. Regardless of HIPPA I found out this would happen through EOB, labeled dx info, etc.
How does CC work when they will be paying the bills? I will have a separate address for the paperwork to go to but what will the primary holder see online/ paying online? On my personal web portal I also opted for paperless but again, I’m not paying so I really don’t know how this works.
Questions:
Is there any ways the fact that I used CC will be obvious or suspicious?
What will the primary holder see when paying bills online?
What will they see online as a primary? Is sensitive information censored?
