Next year my spouse and I will each get free insurance for ourselves and each other through our employers.
- How does this work in practice, do I need to declare one of these primary and the other secondary?
- Can I pick which insurance to use in each situation (basically which ever is cheaper for the thing I'm using it for)?
- What I if elect to have a regular PPO and a HDHP, would I then be eligible for an HSA even though I also have regular insurance?
- Can I theoretically fill each of my prescriptions twice a month, using each insurance once per month?
- Anything else I didn't think of?
