I’m currently a medical student and was just charged ~$1,500 by my old allergy office for a serum they created for me. The problem is I stopped going to that doctor in July (when I moved for med school) and they made the serum in late October without asking me. When I called in, they said I signed a consent form in April/May to make the allergen serum - I don’t recall this form.
I can’t afford the bill and the billing office is saying I need to pay after I explained the situation. My insurance has also changed (previously employer sponsored, now have student insurance)
Would really appreciate any advice on where to go from here to dispute the charge.
