I started a new job and recently got married so I'm joining my wife's health insurance. I sent them the requested loss of coverage form to enroll in her policy prior to departing my last job.
I've now been without insurance for 3 weeks. My wife finally recieved an email from HR saying enrollment had been started and would go through at the end of the month.
Delaying coverage for this long seems rather unacceptable. Is her employer in breach of any legal obligation?
