This is less of a policies and more of a logistics/operations, but who runs all the gas and pneumatic systems in a hospital? Things like the O2, Suction, Medical Air, NO2, and waste gas. Not mention the pneumonic tubes used for labs and pharm. I know every unit has a control panel with gauges and a shut down switch, but I've never met a nurse or tech who knew what it meant or how it works.
So who handles all of that? General Maintenance/facilities? Biomed? Special HVAC guys? External contractors?
Bonus questions: Where are they hiding all the &@$! Christmas trees!? It's like those things are made of gold (joking, of course)
