So I’ve been with One Medical a couple years and I’m really getting annoyed by their sub-par level of care.
I was recently diagnosed with a painful, and potentially dangerous, medical condition that will require surgery but my primary care doctor at One Medical doesn’t seem very engaged.
He won’t answer questions about it via the One Medical portal, rather he sends one-page PDFs out of a medical text book and tells me to book a virtual appointment if I have additional questions - which I get billed for as a standard visit.
I feel like I could get the same medical attention and information just surfing WebMD on my own.
Is this normal? Is One Medical purposely withholding care and service, for the sake of increasing bills? Are they nickel-and-diming me for service that used to be standard for most doctors?
