Help?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask about this, so feel free to ignore. Also I am keeping this post as vague as possible to remain anonymous.

My doctor was (supposedly) wrongfully fired from their hospital system a few months ago. I say supposedly because this doctor was very popular with patients and constantly had good reviews written. This isn't the first time this particular hospital system has fired a doctor out of the blue like this either. I have also heard rumors of a lot of physicians and nurses leaving on their own within the last few years because of this fear of being let go.

The hospital refuses to tell me or any of this Dr's patients why they were fired, where they are now or if they are even still practicing medicine. The only notice I have gotten from them has been a phone call and a letter stating this doctor is no longer there. They gave me recommendations for a few similar (in their opinion) doctors, but the only one that seems to have close to their level of expertise is over an hour away from me. My issue with all of this is this doctor was the only one in my area that has adequate knowledge about my chronic illnesses. I've seen other providers in the past at this same hospital system who have completely ignored me and made me feel like all my issues were in my head/made up, so I have trust issues when looking for someone new.

I keep searching their name on Google every few days and have not seen anything new yet. How else can I find out where my doctor is? Would I have any luck just calling different hospitals in my area and asking? I don't want to make myself seem desparate here, but I am. I was finally starting to get my health under control, and now all of this happens. It has been months since I found out they were gone, and since then my stress level and mental health has gotten way worse. I've started to have random panic attacks/crying spells whenever I even think about having to find a new doctor. I have not talked to my pcp about this yet, but I might at my next appointment. The doctor in question was treating me for anxiety/depression symptoms (among other things), and was prescribing me medication for it. Their np is still in the office and has pretty much taken over for them even though they're just a nurse not a physician. I had an appointment with the np, and was told the hospital system will no longer allow this doctor's patients to receive any refills/renewals on their medications other than birth control. So now idk what to do when I run out of my meds. I hope I'll be lucky and my pcp will re prescribe them without question.

All of this increased stress is causing flare ups of inflammation and pain which just makes everything even worse. Idk what to do if I can't see my doctor anymore.
