How the heck do I cancel medi-cal?!

So long story short, I was on medi-cal for 3 years, I was in school without a job and now I’m out of school, and looking at how to cancel it? I got hired 2 weeks ago at my new job but I was told my insurance wouldn’t kick in till 90 days. Do I actually have to do anything? Because I also read somewhere due to the public health emergency they’re currently not doing renewals/discontinuing? I am so confused on what to do, any help would be appreciated!
