Want to change PCP but no reason for doctor visit

I've recently had a few health problems that have caused me to want to switch PCPs. However, the problems I had were now addressed by a specialist so I have no need to see a doctor for a visit. How do I switch PCPs if I have no need for a doctor visit? My insurance is PPO and I am not due for a physical until April.
