Hey so title, i didn’t know what other /r this could go in so thought I’d put it here. I receive my Masters In Medical Sciences this December, and wouldn’t be starting Med School until late July.
In my off time, I’d like to work as much as I could. (I’ll be getting a head start on STEP 1 as well). But i’d like to see what my options were in the medical field.
I have a B.S Biology, and will have the M.S in Medical Sciences. The program is identical to first year med school curriculum, so it’s definitely not a typical masters. I’ve actually had hands on training with a physician and have made a few confirmed diagnoses as well.
Obviously, more healthcare experience would be a plus, but i’m looking for the highest paying option to add to my savings.
I previously worked at Walmart making $13/hr, 40hrs week, so I feel like something closer to the $20 range would be appropriate. What positions would I be qualified for? And/or what certifications could I acquire to make this range more reasonable and/or higher? Thanks!
