Hello! Currently working at an academic institution. I am suppose to be 90% clinical with 10% non clinical, but in reality I am probably more 120% clinical and 10% non clinical due to short staffing of our department, call-ins due to covid and moonlighting etc. I recently found out through the grapevine that some new hires with less experience were getting paid substantially more. What is the best way to ask for raise that is equal to the new hires or to consider market adjusting our pay?
