Okay so maybe I don’t understand everything in the healthcare system in the U.S. (I come from another country in Latin America) the thing is prices are stupidly costly in the U.S. like not just a bit costly but a lot. I don’t understand how such a rich country cannot make healthcare affordable to their own people. Also, I do have good insurance and good coverage but it still stupid. They didn’t want to cover onexton for me which is 800 dollars per bottle, although a person helped me and got me a discount. However in my country that same cream is 30 dollars without insurance and might I add that in my country the official currency is also dollars so there is not an exchange rate or something like that. A crown in the U.S. without insurance is like 2k and a root canal about 2k as well, in my country it’s 600-800 (without insurance) and a root canal about 200 (without insurance) mind you, we have the exact same technology (cad/cam technology) (Invisalign) at half of a cost or less. Aren’t you guys mad you are basically getting ripped off? They are charging 3-4 times what a medication costs, same with procedures. We should be able to have affordable and quality healthcare. Go to a doctor, optometrist or dentist and not getting ripped off.
