I apologize if this is not the right place.
I have a prescription that is written for 90 tablets (one a day, every day), however, my insurance only covers 30 at a time so that is the most any pharmacy has given me. It has been 30 days, I requested a refill but it won’t let me.
The prescription is written for one tablet a day, daily, until next year. However, it says no more refills left, regardless if it was 30 days or 90 days, that would obviously still be way too early. All my prescriptions show up this way.
Is this an issue I need to handle with my insurance, the pharmacy, or the doctor? I don’t even know where to start, and it sounds like a mess.
If anyone could help me figure out where to start, that would be so great, or if this is easier than I’m convincing myself it is, please please let me know!
This is not a controlled substance, and the insurance and pharmacies do not let me get more than 30 tablets at a time regardless of the prescription being for 90.
