I know there is a shortage of doctors (I wonder why? Maybe because it’s 8 years of rigorous courses and hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt?) but it’s absolutely outrageous how long the wait for a regular appointment. The nearest appointment I can get from today is at the end of August! Literally 4 months out!!! That’s so ridiculous!!!
And if I remember correctly, a big argument AGAINST universal healthcare is that there would be long wait times for appointments. isn’t irony hilarious?
It’s genuinely impossible to get timely health care right now AND it also costs a literal fortune. I’m at a loss of words. So much love to all the hard working doctors, thank you for everything you do. Honestly I hope we can fix this joke of a healthcare system to benefit patients and doctors alike.
