Hello, I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask this. I am currently employed with full benefits (US) but accepted a new job with a tentative start date of August 1. This new job does not offer health insurance, but they will reimburse me for my monthly premiums. My concern is, since it is past the enrollment period, would I have to go without insurance from August-End of year? Or is it possible to still sign up for a public option since I will be losing my health insurance?
To complicate things, this new job is in a different state. I would appreciate any information or guidance on where to start looking into this.
