Anyone know of a good, secure, functional app that patients could upload their data to and compile medical records?
I’m super done with all these patients portals. My poor patients are wasting half the appointment trying to get past all the password updates and 2 point verification bullshit to log on to portals in three different systems to find that lab value from a year ago.
I am looking for something not associated with any of the big EMR companies either, no Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc. They all seem more interested in warehousing and restricting access to healthcare information. I’m pretty done with them too.
This is a sincere question, sort of slipped into a rant there, sorry. Just looking for a functional patient centric app to store medical records.
Could Dropbox work?
