My partner and I were put on Medicaid during the pandemic. I had left my job and it was a welcome relief while hunting for another job. Now I'm a contractor at a company (1099) and still on medicaid.
I called and asked them about it a few months ago, as I assumed I would be kicked off eventually, but they said that due to the pandemic/public health emergency, no one is being kicked off at the moment.
So my question: should I just ride this out and stay on medicaid for the moment? Are there any issues with that?
