Seeking advice on accessing healthcare for new/serious neurological condition

Hey friends, I'm here looking for some advice on my partner, who is struggling with an unknown neurological condition - specifically our inability to find healthcare.

8 weeks ago, my partner (25m) began having what looked like serious tics or myoclonus, as well as very painful, uncontrollable migraines. Since then, we have been to the ER, seen his PCP, and finally got to a neurologist on 6 Jan. He has had a regular blood panel and an MRI--both turned up normal. Luckily, he has pretty good health insurance, but we still have no answers, and the only medications he has been prescribed are useless.

The neurologist would be the one to help us in theory, but they have been absolutely useless. His doctor instructed us to make an appointment with one of their other neurologists in the office as well as a follow-up with him, to set up an appointment to get an EEG done, and to let him know if the medication didn't work so he can prescribe a new one. We haven't been able to get in contact with his office to do so. They won't pick up the phone or return our voicemails. We found out through their voicemail message that their lab testing (the EEG) will take 4-6 weeks, just for them to put in the orders.

I have called dozens of neurologists' offices to get him in with anybody else, but they're scheduled out for months. He's in so much pain. He needs to return to work in three weeks or he could lose his job. We have no clue if this is something serious or if it's doing permanent damage to his brain. I'm losing my fucking mind. I'm out of ideas of what to do. What can I do?

TL;DR - Our healthcare system is fucked. My partner has been suffering for weeks. I'm desperate for answers on how to get him care that's not months away.
