I feel like I’m going crazy and that literally no one cares about getting other people sick even if it’s just a cold. It has really taken a toll on my mental health and has made me want to avoid people altogether

It is infuriating to me how selfish and inconsiderate the vast majority of the population is when they are sick. This has become more apparent than ever over the last two years, but this behavior predates Covid.

I am triple vaccinated, but I don’t even want a cold. Yet every where I go I see people coughing into their hands. My coworkers and even my boss regularly come to work sick and brush it off as “allergies,” even in the middle of winter when they are visibly sick. They cough into their hands and touch everything, and I watch as it spreads through the office one by one and it’s just mind numbing to me that nobody gives a shit!

I’m at the point now where it makes so furious I would rather just avoid people, as I realize I can’t change people’s behavior. How can so many people be so stupid and inconsiderate??
