How can I enroll in a US healthcare plan as a non-resident of the United States? Healthcare Marketplace website says I am not eligible to enroll because of my immigration status.

What options do I have? My employer does not provide coverage as I am a wage worker so when I tried to enroll in a plan on my own through Healthcare dot gov, it said I was not eligible because of my status.
