[Question - insurance] keep work insurance for family only?

Hello so I am new to civilian Healthcare I recently got out of the military and my Healthcare is covered 100% by the VA. My jobs heath care plan that I pay for is for my whole family but I don't use it only my wife and kids do. Is there a way that I can still be enrolled for my family only to make my premium go down or is this not possible. Open enrollment opens next week for us and would like to make changes if possible thanks for your time.
