Recently I've been moonlighting as a COVID tester for a film production that one of the larger domestic media companies is producing. Wages are fine, the company is pretty disorganized and stretched thin as they are not local to the area and we have had continuous staffing issues so I'm being overworked.
Tomorrow I'm being asked to drive over an hour to do test someone in their home who will be on-set talent next week, after administering tests on-site all day. Not exactly how I want to spend my Friday, but for a negotiated fee I could be persuaded. Does anyone have a range of what sort of fee might be reasonable to ask for? The internet is not really helping.
