Hi all, I have always had madicaid or the like. I recently started making more than the minimum required and I won't qualify for it anymore. I need to buy insurance but it seems like it is really expensive. Just because I am making more than the maximum requirement to qualify for free health care that doesn't mean I can afford these exorbitant prices.
I went for a dental checkup and need like a dozen fillings and a root canal. The medicaid I have now will only cover part of it. Seeing as I will either way have to start paying soon, I figured it might be cheaper to just get a proper insurance now and not have to pay at all.
I went online and tried to figure out how to get coverage in NY and I ended up going in circles being passed from site to site and none of them are clear.
Please help me!!!!
TL;DR I have to start paying for health insurance for the first time in my life and don't know where to go or how to get the most coverage for the cheapest.
