Hi all! My family and I are pretty stressed out right now… My dad has a good-paying job and a really great health insurance. But now, his workplace doesn’t want to sign the contract with union, so they’re on strike. We’re cut off from health insurance starting tomorrow…
What can we do? He took his vacation days and is still getting paid, but we have no health insurance. I’m still working and get paid decently as well, so I’m not sure if we could qualify for any government health insurance?
I had a surgery planned for November as well. But this was planned ahead months ago, with our insurance giving us the green light months ago as well. I don’t know where to navigate from here…
