CT, USA A friend of mine is in psychiatric care for 2 weeks, starting the third week, and I have no idea when they will be released. They have a good job and just bought a house. They also have a partner who is also on the deed/mortgage.
Obviously my friend is dealing with some things, and their partner needs help so I've been helping out with some things.
Luckily, when I contacted their job they were understanding, but I'm nervous that they should be doing something like applying for short term disibility. I know they already used all of their PTO time at work prior to this.
Any advice would be appreciated thank you
