Dear Hematologist/Oncologist, How was year Medical Journey to become a medical doctor? Are you satisfied now? Was that hard work worth it?

I am a high school student who will start college next year, I want to become a medical researcher to make medical devices and come up with new and effective medical treatments but I also want to see patients and keep in contact with other medical doctors in different field so that my re search is efficient and useful.

I am planning to do an MD-PhD in Internal Medicine and Biomedical engineering after that I want to do my residency in Hematology and Oncology together.

My dream is to cure cancer and help people live a better life.

That's why I am interested in knowing your journey, your day to day life and how happy and satisfied you are? What advice would you like to give someone who wants to become an Oncologist-Scientist?
