[Question - Insurance] Say I temporarily move from Virginia to a different state in the USA in July. Then I stay in thta other state until roughly late December. What should I do for healthcare? I need to get some tests done either in December or shortly afterwards

Should I keep my old private Virginia health insurance? I could wait to get the tests done in early January after returning to my original state in the USA so I'm not sure. The tests need to be done within late December-early January

It seems like I could either

  1. Keep my old state's health insurance, don't go to the doctor for anything, and hope that moving for a few months doesn't cause them red flags
  2. Get new health insurance and try to do those tests in Massachusetts in late December
  3. Keep my Virginia health insurance, leave for a few months, come back, and get those doctor tests shortly after coming back
