My mom has major depression and recently started ketamine therapy. I just picked her up from her second treatment and she said she pretty much just slept through the whole thing. The doc said "youre not reaching therapuetic dosage" after her session and told the nurse to hit her with 15mg before sending her home.
I thought therapuetic dosage of ketamine is supposed to NOT sedate you. So what the fuck is this doc doing giving her enough to sedate her and then just randomly hitting her with more before she goes????
