[Question - Other] Are these real problems in the healthcare industry?

Greetings everyone! Hope you are all safe and doing well. I am a software developer and I am in the process of building a health tech app to solve 2 problems that I have faced in my personal life. But as I continue building the app I was hoping to find out whether there is real need for this and if the problems I'm trying to solve are real problems after all. I obviously do not want not want to waste my time building a tool that does no one needs. These are the 2 problems I am trying solve with my app:

Problem 1:
Everytime I go to a doctor I do not know how much it's going to cost me. When you're at the doctors they might ask you to get tests, meds, etc. But you don't know what your insurance will cover or not cover. You can find out by calling your insurance from the doctor's office but that seems like an inconvenience and I don't think anybody really does that. We as the patients end up taking a leap of faith and hope insurance will cover all of it.
On my app you as a patient can look this information up on the go and this can be used by the doctors receptionist as well to inform the patient what will and will not be covered on the spot. Everytime I ask them whether my insurance will cover the expenses of an x-ray, tests, meds, etc. they tell me that they will only know after they have sent my bills to the insurance company and they reply back. If these meds/tests are not absolutely urgent I want to be able to make the decision whether I want to get them after I know how much of it will I have to pay out of my pocket. Instead of getting a surprise bill.

Problem 2:
My wife works at a dentistry and they have to memorize which doctor takes which insurance. I think this process should be automated and receptionists at a doctor's office should be able to run a query in a database and get that info. My wife mentioned alot of mistakes happen throughout the day as you're relying on someone's memory. I have been to some doctor's office and I have seen them look this information up from a book. Again this is prone to human errors and can be fixed very easily.

Are these problems unique to me or there is a real need for a tool like this? Please share if you guys have any additional suggestions. Thank you in advance!
