I was going to get a new eyeglass. The clerk did not show me some of the frames in the store. When I asked why she said that those frames are not covered by my insurance. I asked her what if I still want to buy them and she said that I am not allowed to get them even if I want to pay for them out of pocket, because they are not covered by my insurance.
This did not make sense to me, this is the first time I hear it. Is she correct? Even if I want to pay it out of pocket, am I not allowed to buy a frame that is not covered by my insurance?
