[Other] looking for subjects for a healthcare-themed mural

I'm currently completing my senior thesis and beginning to apply to medical school. My capstone project is a large-scale mural (think Diego Rivera inspired) that encompasses dozens of individual narratives from healthcare workers. These narratives are meant to be small anecdotes that encompass your feelings/thoughts about the good and bad of medicine, past and present.

As of right now, I've interviewed about 10 nurses, housekeepers, and techs about their experiences in their field. Now, I'm looking to hear from patients (and physicians) about their perspectives and histories. Essentially, I'd ask you to share a short anecdote with me. This could be anywhere from a bad experience you've had as a patient or an exceptional one. From there, if you're comfortable, I might ask for some reference photos of your face and ultimately paint an allusion to your story into the mural.

As I've yet to interview any patients for this project, I'm not sure what this portion will look like. I'm thinking that I would like to include stories where the subject felt disheartened/unheard by healthcare professionals, felt super connected and grateful for healthcare professionals, witnessed events that had an impact on you as a patient, or any general critiques and struggles that have come with being a patient in the American healthcare system. I'm also always welcome to hearing from more healthcare professionals about their experiences behind the scenes.

If you're interested, feel free to shoot me a DM or comment below for me to reach out to you. I can show you the work I've already done and explain the aesthetic details a bit more if you're interested. Thanks a ton for your time in reading this!
