[Discussion] Do health care organizations and companies really have leverage against healthcare workers if they mandated the employees take COVID vaccines?

I've read that many healthcare workers are refusing the COVID vaccine despite it being offered. Now suppose a healthcare organization says, "Either you take the COVID vaccine or you're fired".

Right now, the systems are desperate to retain staff as it is - travel RNs are getting paid up to $12,000 weekly - and can hardly afford the costs of attrition right now, with demand for healthcare services as it is. Are the companies really in a position to mandate vaccines to staff who could just balk? If half their staff quit then their entire system collapses when they can't meet the surging demand, right?
